Olivia Rubbo, Founder/CEO/Instructor
Olivia Rubbo (she/her) is a professional singer and actor with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College. She has performed extensively across New York City and regional theaters, and brings over 15 years of experience working with young children in music and movement education. Olivia has also pursued specialized training in early childhood music development, enriching her teaching with a deep understanding of how young minds grow through music.
Passionate about the connection between emotional intelligence and well-being, Olivia founded Mind Body Music NYC to offer a holistic enrichment program that blends music education with social-emotional learning. Her mission is to nurture not only musicality, but also kindness, gratitude, and presence in the next generation. Known for her playful, welcoming energy, Olivia creates a joyful and inclusive space where every child can feel safe to express themselves and explore their natural love of music and mindfulness.

Mukta Phatak, Instructor/Creative Director
Mukta Phatak (she/her) is an actor, playwright, teaching artist, and creative living in NYC. She graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in Theatre.
She has taught playwriting and theater to many young people through her work with TWUSA, Colt Coeur and the Bushwick Starr. A member of Actors Equity Association, she has worked on several projects as an actor – from fringe devised plays, to indie plays, to large scale musicals, to TYA shows. As a writer, her plays have been seen at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte, WP Theater, Ancram Opera House, and more. For more visit her website at www.xmukta.com

Eden Wivoet, Instructor/Sales & Social Media Associate
Eden Wivoet (she/her) is a New York City based actor, singer, and musician. Originally from Michigan, she received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas State University in 2023. As an actor, Eden has worked regionally and on national tours, as well as right here in New York! Eden is also a songwriter, and her debut pop EP, The Piano By The Window, is available on all streaming platforms!
Eden has many years of experience working with children of all ages. A product of growing up surrounded by music, she is especially passionate about fostering early childhood development through song and play!

Chloe Meinershagen, Instructor
Chloe Meinershagen (they/them) is a Texas-raised performer and songwriter. Chloe recently earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from Texas State University. Chloe was selected for the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Young Songwriting Intensive in 2024 and the Foundation’s Songwriter’s Project in 2025. Chloe’s original album, “One Little Weed”, was written as their Texas State Honors Thesis and is out now on all streaming platforms.
In the latter half of 2025, Chloe served as a Voice and Keys instructor at School of Rock, working with students of all ages in individual and group settings. Their teaching philosophy emphasizes curiosity and fostering a genuine love of music. Chloe is thrilled to join the staff at Mind Body Music and is enthusiastic about helping children express themselves mindfully while discovering music through play.

Nina Osso, Instructor
Nina Osso (she/they) is a professional musical theater actor and writer. She’s performed in regional productions, developmental workshops of new musicals, and at such venues as Radio City Music Hall, 54 Below, and Carnegie Hall. Offstage as a writer, Nina’s work has been recognized by or developed with the New York City Center, the Johnny Mercer Foundation, the ASCAP Foundation, university theater programs, and more. Originally from northern New Jersey, Nina holds a BFA in musical theater from Boston Conservatory and an MFA in musical theater writing from New York University.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Nina loves to work with children! Nina has worked as a tutor, babysitter, and teacher’s assistant in NYC public schools. She remembers the moment she was bitten by the music bug as a kid, and hopes to inspire that same excitement, learning, and joy in the next generation.

Marth Brown, Events Photographer
Marth Brown (she/her) is a New York City Event, Theatrical, Fashion and Wedding photographer who brings energy, warmth and fun to every shoot she works on. She has photographed countless birthday parties, social and corporate events and is excited to be partnering with Mind Body Music NYC for all your photography needs. On top of photography, Marth has acted and taught with many theatrical young audience companies such as Bevel and Co, Kids stock and ArtsPower. She loves to capture the raw joy and excitement young people have during Mind Body Music NYC classes and she can’t wait to share that with you on your young one’s special day!

Our content is backed by child psych and development experts at top tier universities. We’ve partnered with brilliant professors and grad students throughout NYC, as well as teachers who hold a masters and specializations in Early Childhood Education to enhance our curriculum and original songs that incorporate social and emotional learning!

Emily Mell, Childhood Development Consultant
Emily Mell (she/her) is an early childhood educator based in New York City, with over 10 years of experience in the field. She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Boston University, and is deeply committed to the transformative power of social-emotional learning. A passionate advocate for nurturing empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence, she creates learning environments where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered. She actively collaborates with colleagues and engages in professional development to deepen her understanding and promote the importance of social-emotional learning.
Will Katzman is pursuing his PhD in clinical psychology at Long Island University, Brooklyn, where he also received his master’s. Will graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, where he received high distinction and honors. Will has extensive clinical and research training focused on psychodynamic and developmental models of therapeutic intervention. He has a particular interest in caregiver-child relationships and has explored how play and creativity are essential for children’s emotional development and promotes their healthy relationships with others. His dissertation research focuses on how fathers can provide optimal attunement to their children’s emotional needs. His research has been published in peer reviewed outlets such as the Journal of Loss and Trauma and the Journal of Trauma and Dissociation. When not conducting research, Will provides psychotherapy for children and adolescents who have experienced early adverse experiences. He relies on play to promote emotional insight and to help youth learn about their social worlds.
Annie Farnsworth is a Master’s student in Psychology and researcher at NYU. Her research primarily focuses on creative arts-based therapies as a means to heal trauma and strengthen community. She believes strongly in the power of mindfulness and play to empower people of all ages to live fulfilling lives, and is thrilled to be a part of the Mind Body Music NYC team!
